Vintage Deco Sellstrom Welding Goggles, Catalin? Steampunk Motorcycle Aviator

This listing is for a pair of Vintage Deco Bakelite Welding, Motorcycle or Aviator Goggles by Sellstrom. There's no name on them, but Sellstrom is stamped on the clasp and each side has three lightning bolts. The material has a tortoiseshell pattern and may be Catalin, though we're not certain.
The sides are cleverly vented through the holes for the strap, to allow ventilation and the lenses are removable for cleaning or replacement.
In good vintage condition, with scuffs, scratches or marks. The elastic has lost some of its stretch.The gaskets, between the clear cover plates have deformed, creating a quirky effect that we think is top-notch, but you could easily remove them if you don't like it. Mannequin head is not included.
These are a beautiful pair of vintage goggles, among the nicest on the market and a great gift - don't let them get away!
