    Description

This 1939 coin was minted in Germany has a VERY low mintage of 251,000 . This can be a hard  coin to find in good shape. The "E" on the face side of the coin means it was minted in Muldenhutten Germany. But the
Muldenhutten mint made only 251,000 of these coins for general circulation.
I don't believe this coin was ever cleaned, and there are no damage like nick or scratches on the coin. But it more than likely was in light circulation.
    It
is a very sharp and clear for its age, this one is really nice. The eagles breast feathers are not damage I think  this  coins is  above average, and will be a higher graded coin, has sharp eye appeal.
There are only a few Third
Reich coins that have such a low mintage but the 1939-E, 2-mark might be the lowest.
Well worth  adding to a collection as a point of historical interest or as a replacement for a lesser coin in a on going collection. 1939 was the last year the German Third Reich  minted silver coins until the war ended.
What you are really getting with the 1939-E  Two Mark coin is a solid
    investment coin
that can only go up in price in the future.
Werther for a on going German collection or just to have one of these rarer minted coins, is a good coin to add to your collection and hold on to.
