Restored Rare 1957 Cockshutt Deluxe 20 Best of Show Award Winning Tractor

Description

The Cockshutt Model 20 went into production in early 1952 and ceased in 1957, with only 4,000 tractors having been made. The Deluxe, however, was only in production for less than two years, between the beginning of 1956 and fall of 1957, making this a very desirable collectors piece. The Deluxe featured several revisions to the original Model 20, including a reverse paint scheme (restored here), the addition of a second universal joint in the steering shaft to make it more comfortable, a front mounting step plate, cigarette lighter, upholstered seat, and 17 inch steering wheel.
This particular restoration project won Best of Show from the Grayling Harvest Festival in Grayling, Michigan, and was featured in the Iron Memories tractor magazine volume 10 (2011).
